During this day you are introduced to Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT). The workshop will first discuss the theoretical basis of DBT and its basic assumptions. Consequently, the different parts of the programme and the manner in which standard DBT offers treatment are explained.
Adaptations to the standard programme to a diverse set of target groups are briefly discussed. During the workshop powerpoint sheets, video recordings and, where possible, role playing games are used. A different attitude towards the patient and the disorder has proven to be of great importance during the treatment of especially cluster B personality disorders. Therefore, an active attitude of the participants is valued highly.
Dialexis offers this day in cooperation with Cure & Care. For more information on the training and scheduled sessions, see their website.
