Basic training

3 days

By means of theory, footage and practical exercises, the basic DBT training gives insight to DBT and its application in practice. Statistics about the effectiveness of DBT are shown, and there will be education about screening and diagnostics. The training is based upon the book “Skills Training Manual for Treating Borderline Personality Disorder”, written by Marsha M. Linehan.

Studyload

The training takes place on three days, starting at 09:00 a.m. and ending at 05:00 p.m. The study load is 7 hours each day, plus 7 hours in total before and in between the training, resulting in a total study load of 28 hours.

Participants

Cognitive behavioral therapists, behavioral therapeutic workers, mental health psychologists, clinical psychologists, psychiatrists, psychotherapists, social-psychiatric nurses or psychologists who have completed a basic course behavioural therapy (100 hours), or at least an introduction of 30 hours.
